I recently posted about how we created zizee’s logo in house with Inkscape. Since then I have had a number of people ask me about the techniques used to create the logo, so I thought I’d give screencasting a go and subject you to some verbal/visual ramblings for a change.
About the screencast: The following screencast demonstrates how to create a shiny logo like zizee’s with Inkscape.
The screencast was created using some great opensource tools. To record my desktop I used gtk-recordMyDesktop. To edit the video I used Kdenlive all on my Ubuntu Linux desktop.

If you like the screencast, or would like to see other things covered, please leave a comment to let me know.

That was great! I will be practicing that technique real soon. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Dee, glad you liked it. Let me know when you have created something you’re happy with as I’d love to see what others can use these tricks to create.
Cheers.
Hello Jimmy,
That was a fantastic screencast. Keep up the good work.
